DR. ADAM JAVATE
Physical Therapist, DPT, & Owner
A proud Henderson, NV native, Dr. Adam Javate’s passion for physical therapy began firsthand—through multiple wrist and hand injuries during his high school and college baseball years. These experiences, along with several surgeries and rounds of physical therapy, ignited his drive to help others move better and heal stronger.
Dr. Javate earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2012. While at CSUN, he conducted research in the Biomechanics Lab, focusing on youth baseball pitching mechanics and muscle activation patterns. He also taught exercise science prep courses, sharing his expertise and love for movement with future professionals.
In 2015, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA. The following year, he presented his clinical research on dry needling, spinal manipulation, and exercise for chronic pain at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting in Anaheim.
Dr. Javate’s treatment philosophy centers around restoring functional movement and empowering patients to reclaim their physical capabilities. He uses advanced assessment tools like the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to uncover the root causes of pain and dysfunction. His hands-on approach includes joint manipulation, soft tissue techniques, neurodynamics, and neuromuscular retraining—blending science and skill to get patients back to the activities they love.
He is also certified through the Titleist Performance Institute as a Level II Medical Provider and Junior Golf Development Specialist, helping golfers recover from injuries and improve performance on the course.
