DR. MAX JAVATE
Physical Therapist | Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist
Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Dr. Max Javate brings both athletic and academic expertise to his role as a physical therapist. A two-time letterman for the UNLV Rebels baseball team, he graduated from the University of Nevada–Las Vegas in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiological Sciences. His baseball career continued on the international stage, representing Team Philippines in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifying Tournament in Taiwan.
Before earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine in 2019, Dr. Javate gained hands-on experience as a physical therapy technician and served as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He worked closely with the College of Southern Nevada baseball team, further developing his understanding of athletic performance and rehabilitation.
Dr. Javate is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). He has extensive experience treating post-operative patients and managing overuse injuries such as rotator cuff tendinopathy and Little League elbow.
Known for his detail-oriented, hands-on approach, Dr. Javate integrates manual therapy, dry needling, static and dynamic cupping, and manual resistance exercises into his treatment sessions. He also places a strong emphasis on breathing techniques and movement control, using tactile cues to ensure proper form and promote long-term results.
