Garik Smith, PTA Physical Therapy Assistant

Garik is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with over 7 years of experience specializing in outpatient orthopedic care. Originally from the small island of Jamestown, Rhode Island, he began his academic journey at the University of Rhode Island and completed his degree at the New England Institute of Technology. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2018—after spending a year living in Oahu—Garik has become a valued member of the local rehab community.

With a strong foundation in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, Garik has worked one-on-one with a diverse range of patients. His experience includes treating professional athletes in the MLB, NFL, UFC, World’s Strongest Man competitions, as well as collegiate athletes, high school students, and elite performers from the Las Vegas Strip. He also specializes in providing care to dancers and entertainers, helping them stay strong, mobile, and stage-ready.

As a former athlete himself, Garik’s passion for physical therapy is rooted in his own journey through sports and recovery. He’s dedicated to helping others move better, feel better, and return to the activities they love.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Garik on the golf course, enjoying time outdoors with friends, family, and his dog Reef, or exploring Las Vegas in search of the next great food spot.
